Pensioners in Liberia have asserted that they have been neglected, describing as 'homicide', the failure of National Government, particularly the National Legislature, to increase their benefits in the budget which is currently before the august body. National Pensioners Association of Liberia (NPAL), Chairman, Mr. Ansumana Zuannah Kamara said their assertion is based on the action of Government, which indicates that they (pensioners) have been despised and neglected, noting that it could lead to their untimely demise, “considering our ages and physically impaired condition to work any longer.”
