Liberians and foreign guests expected to grace the 2011 Independence Day celebrations of the first Black Republic will listen to a female Lofaian serving as orator of the national event in Voinjama, for a message befitting the yearly ceremony. Imagination has since been created across the country by virtue of inquisitiveness as to the chosen personality whose oration is yet to be determined.

House Passes Act For Multilateral High School In Bassa

An act to establish a multilateral High School in the Wee Statutory District, Grand Bassa County has been passed into law by the House of Representative. The Act which was put forth before the lower house by Grand Bassa County District #3 Representative J. Byraon Brown on July 6, 2010, was turned over to the House Committee on education for deliberation.

Via Town Bridge Deadline Optimistic –As VP Boakai Praises Contractors, P/Works

The current level of reconstruction work on the damaged Vai Town Bridge shows that Liberians, especially Monrovians, will optimistically commute between the Bushrod Island and Waterside area as at December 26, 2011. The superstructure and two piers are being connected.
