Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has promised to give $1,000 U.S. dollars and a vuvuzela to any Liberian who correctly predicts the two final teams and the winner of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

In continuation of her testimony into Taylor's trial in The Hague, defense witness Isatu Kalon, a woman who said she helped the Sierra Leonean rebels during the country's 11-year brutal war, has told the Special Court that she also persuaded them (RUF) to come out of the bush and join disgruntled Sierra Leonean soldiers who had overthrown their government in a military coup in 1997; reports Alpha Sesay.
