The 1986 Constitution of Liberia provides that elections be held after every six (6) years; and so the ensuing presidential and general elections are to be held 2011. However, as 2010 passes the halfway mark with no progress so far on the first post-war and controversial threshold to assure possible conduct of the 2011 elections, political stimulations that rose early this year, with many declaring intentions for the presidential and legislative posts, appear to be dying with reports of some politicians and political allies contemplating on option geared towards countering any event where there may be a perpetual administration of the current Government if at all elections are not held on time.
