In an effort to improve the learning environment, new measures for academic year 2010-201, have been disclosed in District #1, Nimba County. Making the disclosure to reporters over the weekend in Sanniquellie City, District Education Officer (DEO) Emmanuel K. Dahn said, the Educational system in the country has taken a new dimension. Mr. Dahn said that the government has mandated the Educational Section by having 45 students in each class at the senior high level, and 35 students in a class at the Elementary level. |

Reports from Sanniquellie Mah District in Nimba say a group of wild chimpanzees, locally called bamboos, has gone on the rampage, invading farms and destroying food crops in the District. The bamboos are said to have started their invasion in Danten area near the border Town of Vannyanpa. |

Reports from Cooper's farm, Louisiana, Montserrado County say a 28-year-old man of the area, Alex Kollie, alias “50-cent” was recently a victim of caustic soda on his body when men believed to be owner of a long outstanding land dispute ordered an action of eviction on land he has been residing with family.According to the reports, the incidence occurred due to a deepening and long-standing land dispute in the area with David Kpadeh Sloan, Administrator of the interstate of the late James Boley of Fendell, and the Administrator of the interstate of the late Dorbor Adullah Pabai of the Montserrado County at each other's throat. |
