Nine men linked to the killing of Keith Jubah, have been formally sentenced to death by hanging, falling into similar situation of Hans Williams and his fiancé who were found guilty recently, even though for Hans and co-defendant, their lawyers have taken an appeal to the Supreme Count of Liberia. Keith Jubah was the Chairman of the Public Procurement and Concession Commission (PPCC). He was brutally murdered on his farm near Kakata, Margibi County and his vehicle burned. A 12-man jury brought down guilty verdict against the men recently following legal arguments. |

The National Pensioners Association of Liberia (NPAL), the umbrella organization of pensioners, retirees, annuitant, and other welfare beneficiaries in the Republic of Liberia, says that the Government of Liberia is committed to increase their salaries and benefits in the 2010/2011 Fiscal Budget, effective July 1, 2010. |

As part of effort to revitalize the Monrovia City Corporation Police, giant steps are being taken in order to ensure that its first batch of recruit goes through vigorous training exercises in various areas of policing at the Police Academy in Paynesville. The first batch of 70 recruits is expected to shortly commence training. |
