In the wake of several petitions for the incumbent, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to run for a second term in reversal of her own promise to the Liberian people that she would serve only one term in office and amidst a laundry list of beautiful accomplishments, forward looking proposals and a challenge to all Liberians to rise up, get involved in the nation building process and fight corruption as a societal ill, the President is said to have muddled the water by declaring her intentions at the tail end of her annual message. The message was said to have been diluted, although to the delights of her loyal supporters and the disgust of her opponents.
