Grand Gedeh Superintendent Chris Bailey has sounded a caveat to politicians that they will no more use the citizens of his county and Nimba as way of getting to state power. According to Superintendent Bailey, the people of Nimba and Grand Gedeh Counties are peace-lovers, but it was political demigods who created feud among them, thereby degenerating into tribal conflict. As he puts it, "The Late General Thomas Quiwonkpa was fooled by politicians, from which they (politicians) embarked on the tribal sentiment to divide the counties. "Let it be clear that the war affected all counties in the Republic of Liberia," he averred.
