GRACE KPAN HOSTS CHRISTMAS PARTIES FOR CHILDREN

A Montserrado County's defeated senatorial aspirant has hosted two separate parties for 900 children during the festive Christmas Season. Mrs. Grace Kpaan hosted the first children's party on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at her resident in Logan Town, Bushrod Island. The second party, according to Mrs. Kpaan, was hosted on Saturday, December 26, 2009 in Japan City, Careysburg.

UL STUDENTS ENTANGLE-Want Dr. Dennis' Intervention

About 500 students doing remedial at the nation's highest institution of learning, the University of Liberia (UL) are said to be entangled with financial harassment from some of their instructors in order to be admitted to the regular program at the end of this semester. Speaking to the In profile Daily recently on the matter under anonymity, some of the aggrieved students expressed disappointment over the manner in which they are being treated with continuous threats, accompanied by the collection of money from them against their will.

NPA DONATES TO SCHOOL OF THE DEAF

The National Port Authority (NPA) has donated a consignment of parboiled rice and 400.00 United States Dollars to the Liberian school of Deaf in the Township of Virginia outside Monrovia. Making the presentation recently at the head office of the NPA, the Managing Director, Madam Matilda W. Parker made a donation of more than fifty-five bags of rice in line with the institution's wish to help address the plight of the less fortunate in the Liberian society.
