Lofa County Representative Engene Fallah Kparkar of the Liberty Party (LP) has differed with the President Pro Tempore of the Liberian Senate, Cletus S. Wortorson regarding his recent over the passage of the controversial threshold bill currently at the National Legislature, specifically the Senate. It can be recalled recently that Pro Tempore Wortorson dismissed the perception that delay in the passage of the threshold bill will affect the 2011 general and presidential elections.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has embarked on program in continuation of creating awareness on counter human trafficking across Liberia.By doing this, the organization on Monday, November 9, 2009, commenced a weeklong capacity-building workshop for law enforcement officers, religious and community leaders on counter-trafficking in Robertsport City, Grand Cape Mount County.
