Life is a one time opportunity that is assigned to every human person through creation. Like a penalty shoot-out it is never awarded twice. Its termination by way of death obviously marks the beginning of the one that is supposed to exist in the Great Beyond. Other than mere imagination and hypothesis, no one is capable of clearly analyzing the life that exists in the other world.

Scriptural analysts and theologians believe that life in the Great Beyond is above contamination, pollution, destruction, war and other vices that customarily undermine the social and cultural existence of peoples of the world. Through sermons and other teachings in places of worships, these analysts or scripture interpreters would present the facade of the Great Beyond as a place of uninterrupted joy, sterilized love, ever fettered unity as well as the existence of peace without border. These teachings and interpretations often glitter with the colors of reality since no one had ever heard of conflict and blazing war between those who had died and gone ahead to this Great Beyond. Unlike the earth surface where countless menaces and battalions of evils evolve by the hour thereby creating harms against existence, the Great Beyond is by way of imagination a place of unending milk and honey. Given this standing impression which seems to hold  100% (hundred percent) in a poverty stricken society like ours, the aspiration and inclination of living in heaven to escape the permeating  wrath of the earth remain at high frequency. Hence, if the route to heaven were not traditionally hinged on  death, but rather by magical means, there would be countless escapees to the Great Beyond on a daily basis to be hosted by unassailable peace and love unlike one sheltering men that appear impressive on the surface but inwardly they are grimy, shakable and fragile.

The obvious reason is that naturally there are the greed, envy and malice obsessed in the nature of most power users summed up by their selfish aims to monopolize political power. Hence they would greedily siphon unto themselves social cream as well as secure their own economic standing thereby making them to drive away from the plan of sharing opportunities. Poverty and all of its connections that remain hampering peaceful life in society are telling examples. This is prevalent in a society like ours where opportunities are denied the people thus making them not to grow and develop socially and economically.

However, in the wake of this attitude which also prevails in our society, there are certain people who feel and think that sharing opportunities is an obligation and tradition by which society can harvest growth and development. Sharing opportunities brews love, unity and national reconciliation.

Not only does it amount to cementing national unity, it is in obedience to the dictates of God including the rules of being one’s brother’s keeper. Instead of fermenting evils and brewing uneasiness among people, sharing opportunities is the best way of minimizing poverty in society. It is the measure by which societies develop and grow both in human resource and infrastructural development.  Hence, blessed are those who adopt and practice the culture of sharing opportunities.
