Marriage is naturally the crux of all social lives in addition to being a pillar of mutual coexistence between and amongst men and women of all races within the universe.

According to the Holy Bible he who finds a wife obviously finds a very good thing. It can be equally understood also that she who finds a husband finds a good thing as well. Understandably the husband represents the roof of the marriage while the wife can be suitably equated to the pillar. The roof traditionally sits on top the pillar while the pillar braces the roof. A demonstrated collaboration by the two certainly leads to stability and peace in the home.

Marriage is indeed a tough and challenging affair. Like football game that requires skills and physical strength, the game of marriage requires mutual understanding, patience, coordination and cooperation. The vehicle of marriage is often driven along the rough and rocky road, if not hilly or mountainous path. In order words, marriage is never and will never exist, void of tension resulting from disagreements in the homes between and among the participating partners. Marriage is like life itself that is often at war with social vices created by men themselves. Hence, it goes through the turbulence, thereby causing an uneasy calm in the homes.

Who then saves the victims when love in marriage is about to crash land? Like the doctors that normally save the patients by diagnosing the situation and proscribing the healing medication, the problems in marriage are expected to be solved by the partners involved-the husband and wife.

To prevent a crash landing love requires avoiding the temptation that often accompanies it including provocation, gossips, undue jealousy, and other negative thoughts. The cradle of love is shared confidence and respect. Obviously love ceases to crash when confidence and respect are kept stable. Confidence is the lifeblood of love. This applies to everything that has to do with life struggle. It protects love from falling victim to falsehood. It prevents the mind from living in bed with lies. It is the main root of love and therefore marriage. Hence, to prevent marriage from crash landing love must always be polished and kept behind the shield of confidence and mutual respect. It takes only the participating partners to control the direction and frequency of marriage by effectively using the gear including confidence, understanding and respect as long as the duration of the marriage.
