The Director of Public Relations at United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Liberia Mr. Anthony Selmah, who has been practicing in the media for the past twenty three years, will today take up a new assignment at the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) as Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Service.

Mr. Selmah, a veteran media practitioner who has served the UNDP for the past four years says, he would maintain his cordial relations with the media and foster further relations between the LTA and that of the Media.

 

Mr. Selmah in a release, expresses thanks and appreciation to the media for the level of support provided the UNDP over the last 4 years by covering programs and workshops as well as accompanying UNDP on project visits. He intimated that coverage by the media of UNDP especially during the emergency and early recovery period help in giving visibility to UNDP's work in Liberia.

 

"I would like to inform you that I have decided to leave UNDP effective today Friday, Feb 4, 2010. I have accepted a new assignment at the Liberia Telecommunications Authority as Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Relations. After 23 years as a media practitioner, you will realize that I am not going very far from the media. I will still maintain a cordial working relations with all of you in my new portfolio. I hope to strengthen my relations with all of you in my new assignment." He asserted.
