The National Democratic Party of Liberia (NDPL) has clarified that Mr. J. Hodo Merriam and Michael Nayon are not vice Chairpersons for Administration and Operations respectively as reported in the media.
Speaking to this paper recently, NDPL Chairman, Nyandeh Sieh, Sr. said Merriam and Nayon are just ordinary members of the party, and as such the political institution takes serious exception to reports attributing to the party Chairman.
According to Mr. Sieh, Mr. Jailee Quiee is the Vice Chairman for Administration, Mr. Siapha Gbonokai is the Vice Chairman for Operations, while Jackson E. Doe remain the Secretary.
Meanwhile, the NDPL Chairman has reiterated that there is no leadership crisis in the party as was earlier reported in the media, noting that the pending National Convention will determine the next corps of officers of the party.
