Tito Sisters defeated Determining Girls 5-1 yesterday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) down town Monrovia in the ongoing Liberia Football Association (LFA) female league, with four of the goals coming from Florence Monboe.
Patience Williams opened the score for Tito Sisters on 29th minutes in to the match, but Maryanah Aqkoi found the equalizer for Determining Girls on 34 minutes in to the first half.
Florence Monboe who was at her best for Tito Sisters found the back of the net four times in the match, thus scoring hat-track plus one in 42,58th, 77th and 90th minutes played, thereby helping her team secured the needed three points.
However, Antaries Sisters who were expected to take on Pro Anchors in the day’s second female match failed to honor their fixture thereby forfeiting the three points to Pro Anchors, while Exodus FC battled Vinton Pro in the day’s last event at the same venue Monrovia.
In a related development World Girls will lack horns with Senior Pro in today’s first female encounter, while Aries will come face to face with Al Pro in the second match at 4; 00pm at the ATS.
Meanwhile the Liberia Football Association (LFA) 2011-2012 national premier league chase will continue today after the international brake at various venues in the country.
Second from bottom on the premier league table Invisible Eleven (L.E.) who is yet to record a win after losing their first three matches of the season will come face to face with Nimba United who is fifth on the premier league table at 6: 00pm at the ATS
Joint league leaders Jubilee FC and Monrovia Club Breweries who are level on points at the top of the premier league table will battle for supremacy in the day’s last match at 8;00pm at the same venue.
Bassa Defender will take on Liberia Black Star in the first match at 4; 00pm, while Mighty Barrolle will entertain premier league comer Green Pasture in Unification town in the last match at 6;00pm, and ST. Joseph will play International Black Star (IBS) in the only match at the Kakata sports pitch.
