The world of mankind is not only round, hilly, rocky, muddy and immeasurable, it equally spins with countless sins thereby being a potential source of risks to life. It can be logically insinuated that life traditionally sits near the proximity of death which hosts the final resting place of mankind. Life often ends into sorrow no matter how creamy it may have been. It is like a slave that usually bears pains even in the wake of the prevalence of bread and water. The joy associated with life is little as frustration and disappointment potentially rest upon its shoulder.

Life itself is vanity because it does not protect mankind from falling prey to death. Solomon testimony confirms that. He felt that wisdom was the best food for the soul and therefore asked God to increase his.

No one knows when life will end, not even the wisest man or the rocket scientist. Thus it is useless casting one’s desire for all that is in the world- power, money wealth, women, honey, etc. It is useless seeking satisfaction because satisfaction lies not in the heart of men- not even those who are fortunate to be kings and queens. He/she who seeks satisfaction rather scandalously loses his/her soul dreadfully. Political histories all over the world bear the testimonies of these examples where power users are most time destroyed by their own power. It is indisputable that power builds one’s fame and provides him/her social cream in society but it equally destroys its users and all that they had possessed over the years. Power is like honey that is closely associated by stinging bees.

Fools love power, money and wealth but the wise seek to have good names. Fools doubt the existence of the true and living God but the wise believe in life after death and would therefore crave to seek Jesus Christ as their savior.

I agree with the belief of the wise because it is useless to own the entire world and loose the soul. From where I sit and write my conviction in Christ froths and fumbles. I believe that there is joy in Christ than in material wealth especially when they are acquired sinfully. Joy in Christ has to do with the application of justice, proportional sharing of love, helping one’s neighbor to grow, being truthful, simple, kind and reserved. Hence, I prefer having joy in Christ than the one in the devil. Give me my Christ and take your entire world- the world of no justice, sickness, disappointment, frustration, and temptation.

Indeed, those who believe in the world and not Christ seek to earn all through evil means. They seek power and wealth through blood sacrifices. They hate those in whom Christ lives and therefore seek to suppress them. They love the agents of the devil who believe in achieving through evil means. The agents of the devil are characterized by wickedness, lawlessness and unforgiving spirit. However, powerful they may be they can not succeed without the pure in spirit.

When Christ leads the soul it sets one’s heart on the solid foundation of bravery. Bravery makes the human person to see problems as challenge. Bravery is the guardian for the child of God as he/she makes his/her way through the wilderness. Bravery evokes faith and hope and constrains the human person to violently seek the path to the Promised Land. The Promised Land could be a place of peace, reconciliation between the human mind of the heart; a place where love is shared.

The Promised Land could a place where the mindset to promote one’s possibility is imminent.
