The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the River Gee County Health Team, Angeline Baryou, has urged Liberian students, especially those in high school to be very serious in seeking.

Madam Baryou noted that education is important and key to the development of any nation as such, Liberian students should make education their first priority.

She spoke over the weekend when she served as Guest Speaker at the 12th graduation exercise and closing programs of the Angeline Brisbane Memorial Academy in Monrovia.

“A thousand mile begins with the first step, so I admonish you graduates today to put your lesson at the core of your heart in order to be successful in your sojourns in life,” Madam Baryou said.

The River Gee County Health Officer reminded the graduates that competition in Liberia is currently at the highest peak indicating that in order to be successful they must strive to be at the top of their education.

Madam Baryou also stressed the need for parents to do more in investing in the education of their children so that they can be put in a proper position to contribute to nation building.

She reminded parents of the graduates that the welfare and brightness of the children seriously depend on the level of training instilled in them (children) while under the roof of their parents or guidance.
