A government vehicle being used by the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization (BIN) bearing license plate RL 300 hit a Taxi- Cab with plate number 7428, leaving two female passengers seriously wounded and unconscious. The victims were immediately rushed to an unknown hospital in Monrovia.
The accident occurred on Carey Street last Friday. Although police officers were not on the scene to establish the cause of the accident, eyewitnesses told the In Profile Daily that the Immigration vehicle was speeding excessively and the driver was unable to control the speed at which he was accelerating.
The eyewitnesses said both vehicles came from the same direction. Meanwhile, this paper was not able to establish the current state of the two women because our reporter could not locate the main hospital they were taken.
Investigation continues.
