Following the publication of a story on secret detention within the Executive Protective Service (EPS), formally the special security service (SSS), by this paper, the Deputy Chief of Operations of the service, Jallah Pysack has been suspended for one month without pay, and may be demoted.

EPS sources told the In Profile Daily late Tuesday that Director Othello Warrick took the decision following an investigation into the alleged illegal detention of four EPS officers at a secret, dark cell which was created by the EPS.

Following the publication Tuesday, Colonel Warrick denied the detention of four officers on a local radio talk-show, but promised to investigate the matter without delay.

Our sources hinted that after the investigation, Col. Warrick suspended the Chief of Operations, with his salary for one Month slashed upon his return to duty. He also risks demotion, our sources said.

According to our sources, the EPS established that Pysack who was once a body guard to fugitive general Benjamin Yeaten, is said to be one of the hilarious characters within the EPS, and he has reportedly carried out detentions and molestations of officers on several occasions.

On Tuesday, this paper carried a story, captioned “Secret Detention Again” which linked EPS director Othello Warrick to secret detention within the EPS.
