The Leadership Congregation of the Rock Church International -Liberia Incorporated has called on the Counsel of Incorporators and the Rock Church Virginia Beach based in the United States to immediately recall Bishop Rosetta Cox for alleged bad administration policy and her illegal involvement in the sale of the institution’s properties.

Reading a position statement on Tuesday in Monrovia, the Acting Chairman of the Counsel of Incorporators, Deacon James E. Brooks said they were upset over the manner and form in which Bishop Cox is running the affairs of the church, noting that her action runs contrary to the doctrine and teaching of the church.

The group also accused the Bishop of single handedly leasing and selling land and other properties belonging to the church without the consent of the Counsel of Incorporators and the advisory board.

“The leadership and congregation of Rock Church International-Liberia has resolved that while it is true that Rock Church Virginia Beach is our parent organization, we are calling on it to immediately recall  Bishop  Cox  and assign her elsewhere”,  the statement said.

The statement warned that her continuous stay in Liberia will further impede the spiritual and economic growth of the church and at the same time reduces its strength in terms of membership.
The group further accused the Bishop of engaging in “divide and rule” tactics and mismanagement of the church’s resources, thereby discoursing the desire and aspirations of the entire membership.

“Under the leadership of Bishop Cox, we have watched the mass exodus of leaders and members from the church due to the manner and form in which the institution is being run”, the statement indicated.

The group in the statement made it clear that it will remain resolute on its position until Cox is recalled to safe the church from retrogression.

When contacted via mobile phone, Bishop Cox told the In Profile Daily that she is currently in consultation with her lawyer, and as such she cannot comment on the issue.
