The Bishop of Greater Refuge Temple Church on Front Street, in Monrovia, has admonished Liberians to actively get involved in serving the Almighty God.
Speaking to the In Profile Daily on the morning of Tuesday, January 1, 2013 (New Year’s Day) at the end of the watch night, Bishop Nathaniel Zarway, Sr. believes that Godliness is a great success for one to achieve in society.
He noted that with total Godliness among the people of Liberia, there could be more improvements for the country.
Bishop stressed that Liberia and its citizens are striving to achieve total peace and reconciliation after 14 years of civil war.
The man of God also noted that Liberia is a Godly nation, reason why he wants most of the citizens including Muslims and Christians to actively get involved in worshiping the Lord with all their hearts and souls.
Bishop Zarway is hopeful that if Liberians are highly engaged in the works of the Almighty God by serving him, the country stands the chance of being transformed from its current stage to another level through better growth and economic development.
Bishop Zarway indicated that everyone needs to get involved in the things of God because the end time is nearer and that they should get closer to God and repent from negative doings.
“Billions of people always celebrate when New Year comes, expressing hopes and promises of changing their behaviors and status to one another. But some do not understand what they are hoping for or want in their lives. They have not drawn closer to God by worshiping him with faith,” he pointed out.
The Greater Refuge Temple Bishop stated that the Christian Community in Liberia is one of the strongest institutions in the country that should always stand in the interest of the citizens at all times.
According to him, it takes a million minds to understand who God is. “But some times one may get to understand who is he through the spirit when an individual had gotten closer to him by obeying his commandments and worshiping him.”
Bishop Zarway then called on Liberians to recognize each other as one family. He cried, “You are all one family in the eyes of God.”
He mentioned that with peace and unity among the citizens of Liberia, there could be total development in a nation in which every person will enjoy a lot.
