After paying the WAEC fees of over sixty students of various high schools in Bong County during the Vision 2030 Conference held in Gbarnga, Finance Minister, Amara Konneh, has again awarded scholarship worth over seventy thousand Liberian dollars (L$70,000.00) to an 11-yr-old boy nine grader, Josephus Koiwood of the St. Mark Lutheran High School in Gbarnga.

Student Koiwood was awarded the scholarship for his brilliant introduction of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf  during the Vision2030 Conference.

According to the Director of Media Services at the Ministry of Finance, SidikiTrawally, the over seventy   thousand Liberian dollars’ worth of scholarship covers the remaining years of student Koiwood’s secondary education including his WAEC fees for ninth and twelve grades respectively.

The fund for the scholarship is said to have already been paid to the school’s administration.
