District # 3 Representative of Margibi County, Stephen S. Kafi, Sr. has outlined development initiatives for the district. Speaking recently at a dedicatory ceremony of a Palava hut in the Buzzy Quarter Community in Kakata Margibi County, Representative Kafi among other things named the purchase and presentation of an 18th  seater bus to Margibi County University student Union (MARUSU).

According to him, the amount of sixty-nine thousand Liberian Dollars (LD$ 69,000.00), was spent to register twenty- six (26) candidates for the University of Liberia (UL) placement and Entrance Exam. He noted that some of those candidates have not enrolled in the university.

Representative Kafi who is also the Secretary General of Margibi County Legislative Caucus, also informed citizens of the District #3 that he had organized a skill training program in Division #28 area of the county and has so far that graduated at least ninety- three (93) students from the program.

He also indicated that the wives of ordinary rubber tapers where also trained in soap making, baking, tie and dye and hair dressing.

Also making reference to his legislative functions, the Margibi County District #3 lawmaker said two bills were sponsored by him and passed into laws.

Representative Kafi pointed out that he ably represented his constituency in all responsibility oversight of other branches of government.

For his part, the Chairman of Buzzy quarters Community James K. Beyan praised Representative Kafi the construction of the modern Palava hut in the community and the district at large.

At the same time, Mr. Beyan has pledged his community support towards representative Kafi development initiatives in the district.

The lawmaker also disclosed to citizens of Kakata and its surroundings that his office has some plastic chairs to be use on whatever occasion they are needed by the citizens, but warned of replacement if any is broken.
