On April 22, 2013, in the Heritage News paper, volume number 113, the headline captioned, “With high Wealth and Resources: Liberia is in Darkness of Poverty.” This statement, according to the Heritage news paper, was made by the Honorable Christopher Neor, one time President and CEO of the National Oil Company of Liberia. Such a statement, by a man if he is truly honest to publicize his private bank accounts would be considered one of the richest in Liberia is mindboggling, unthinkable and speaks to the dishonesty and duplicity of some of Liberian’s politicians. This article seeks to debunk the Honorable Neor’s assertion and to put forth a proposition that Liberians are now smarter, awakened and alert not to fall prey to such dishonest and duplicitous propaganda.
